In 2014 we were appointed to advice Goldsmiths College and Meanwhile Space on the refurbishment of this parade of Victorian shops with flats above. Previous assessments had condemned the building as requiring such extensive structural work that it was seen as uneconomic to repair. Our better informed and experienced assessment has revealed a building in better condition and more readily converted to a mix of office and residential uses than had been previously thought.
